Three bowlers who have the potential to take the most wickets in today’s encounter between SRH and RCB.

Two crucial points will be on the line in Match 65 of the current Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season between the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The long-awaited match will take place on Thursday, May 18 at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

The Orange Army has had a terrible season thus far. Thursday is Hyderabad’s final home game of the season. They are at the bottom of the table, having won only four of their twelve games. They come into this game having lost to the team atop the standings, Gujarat Titans (GT).

RCB, on the other side, will be buoyed by their 112-run win over the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their last encounter. They are in fifth place with 12 points and an NRR of +0.166.

The Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) hitting lineup was rattled by RCB’s bowling, as they were all out for 59 runs in their previous encounter.

The SRH bowlers also performed admirably against GT. Despite Shubman Gill’s excellent century, GT could only manage 188/9 on a decent batting surface.

As the two teams prepare to face off in the IPL 2023, it’s crucial to consider who could make a significant difference in this area, especially if they have some good matches.

So, let’s make a guess at three bowlers who could take the most wickets in the SRH-RCB encounter on Thursday.

RCB’s finest bowler, Mohammed Siraj, will have to come out swinging at his home stadium in Hyderabad if RCB were to win a crucial game. Siraj will have the opportunity to perform in front of his home crowd.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a strong start to the season, claiming 12 wickets in six games. He has 16 wickets in 12 games at an average of 20.37 and an economy rate of 7.76.

The right-handed pacer will attempt to keep the crowd amused while drawing on his past expertise at the venue.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar – SRH: After collecting five wickets against the Gujarat Titans (GT), Bhuvneshwar Kumar would be feeling quite confident. The SRH veteran bowled really well in the conclusion of the game, drawing on his many years of expertise.

SRH would like Bhuvneshwar Kumar to have a good first ball and give the squad an early lead against RCB’s “big three,” Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell. It’s worth noting that Bhuvneshwar has scolded them all six times.

After his second IPL five-for, it will be intriguing to see how Bhuvneshwar Kumar performs in the high-pressure game against RCB.

Wayne Parnell – RCB: In his first game back after being away for five months, Wayne Parnell took a fantastic 3/10 for RCB against Rajasthan. The left-handed runner dismissed Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Joe Root all at once, thus ending the game on the powerplay.

Parnell has appeared in five games for RCB this season. He has nine wickets and a fantastic strike rate of 12.00.

Good spin bowlers have historically performed well early in the innings in Hyderabad, and Faf du Plessis will utilize Parnell as a wicket-taking option against SRH.
