Harbhajan Singh has picked four clubs as IPL 2023 playoff qualifiers.

The 2023 Indian Premier League season is coming to a close, and the competition to reach the playoffs gets tougher daily. All ten teams are still in contention for the postseason, but none have yet qualified. In the IPL 2023 points table, the defending champion Gujarat Titans have the best opportunity of reaching the final four teams. However, the Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are presently at the bottom of the standings and have won only three of their nine games to date, are still in contention.

However, every encounter will be crucial for every team. Even one defeat can eliminate a team’s chances of making the playoffs. Harbhajan Singh, a former Indian spinner who played for the Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders, has identified four teams that he believes are most likely to qualify for the semifinals as the race nears its conclusion.

The great bowler predicts that the Gujarat Titans, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings, the five-time champion Mumbai Indians, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore will advance to the semifinals. Last year’s finalists LSG and Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals were surprisingly omitted from his squad. LSG is currently second in the IPL 2023 points standings. In the previous season, they qualified for the playoffs but lost to RCB in the quarterfinals.

Speaking to the Star Sports program, Harbhajan said, “Jaha tak mujhe lagta hai, ek toh aapki GT jarur rahegi waha pe.” Dusri jo team hai, waha par Chennai Super Kings jarur rahegi. Teesri’s Mumbai Indians team. Abhi vo bahut peeche hai par meri apni soch hai ki vo waha par rahegi. Aur RCB iss baar mujhe lagta hai pehle 4 mein dikhegi. RR mujhe lagta hai waha rahegi par in the end koi na koi aage nikal jayega. Mumbai Indians aage nikal jayegi. According to my estimation, one will be GT. The Chennai Super Kings will be the second team in the tournament. Michigan will be the third side. You could say that they are currently so low, but they will rise, and RCB will be fourth. I believe RR will be competitive, but someone will eventually surpass them. (They may be overtaken by Mumbai Indians.)

The IPL team with the most championships, MI, missed the playoffs the past two seasons, but they have a shot to qualify this season. After nine victories, Rohit Sharma’s squad has accumulated 10 points.
