Glenn Maxwell, who was recently named in the Australia squad for the upcoming ODI series in India, has expressed that his recovery from a leg injury was slower than anticipated, and he would have preferred playing some cricket matches before returning to the international circuit. The cricketer fractured his left fibula in a freak accident at a birthday party in November 2022 and had to undergo surgery. Despite not being able to play earlier, Maxwell adjusted his rehab program to fit the timeline for the one-day side.
